“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (II Corinthians 3:17).

All throughout the scriptures, God’s mission was to bring freedom, life, and blessing to those who followed Him. When Jesus walked the earth, He went around doing good and bringing healing; setting people free. If you feel overwhelmed by the pressures of the world today, remember, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! When you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, He makes His home on the inside of you. That means His Spirit lives within you so wherever you are, His liberty and freedom are with you, too! When you constantly focus on external things: distractions, cares, and worries of the world, you magnify them in your life until that’s all you see. But when you focus on what God has given you: peace, freedom, and abundant life, those are the things that you will see manifest in your life. Focus on His freedom today by declaring His goodness in your life. Sing a song of praise and thank Him for His hand of blessing and freedom. As you do, you will rise higher, and you will live the abundant life He has prepared for you!

A Prayer

Father in heaven, thank You for loving and setting me free. I cast my cares on You today and choose to focus on Your freedom. I bless You today and magnify You in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

"Give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes." (Isaiah 61:3, The Message)

Ashes represent what's left over when everything is burned up. These ashes represent your broken dreams, your disappointments, your hurts and your pains. For God to give you beauty from ashes, an exchange must occur. You can't hold on to your ashes and receive something beautiful. You have to lay aside the ashes and accept the bouquets of roses God has for you. Accept God's promise that you "can do all things through Christ" who strengthens you. Accept that God makes you the head and not the tail, to be lenders and not borrowers. He wants you to be the victor, not the victim! Make a decision to let go of the ashes of the past and grasp the "roses" God has for you.

A Prayer
God, help me to lay aside the things that are holding me back and accept the good things You have to give me. I praise You today for Your love to me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

  “…God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His holiness” (Hebrews 12:10). Aren’t you glad that the God of this universe loves us enough to discipline and shape our character? Webster’s Dictionary defines “discipline” as training that corrects, molds, or perfects mental faculties or moral character. God improves our character through His training. While you are on this earth, you are constantly in spiritual training. Your faith is being trained, your character is being trained, and your heart is being trained to be more like Him. God is training us so that we can be holy, or set apart, in our mind, will, and emotions. Holiness is important to God because the Bible says that without holiness, we won’t be able to see Him. God doesn’t want anything to come between you and Him. He wants to be with you. That’s why He chose to make your heart His home. When you allow Him to shape, train, and improve your character, you will be holy and you will see Him. Receive His loving guidance today as He shapes and trains your character. Let Him work in your life and respond to His tender leading. As you do, you’ll rise higher in every area and live the life of victory the Lord has planned for you.

A Prayer Father, thank You for Your discipline in my life. Thank You for molding and shaping my character so that I can be more like You. I welcome your correction and submit myself to You in every area of my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

As a follower of Christ, you are a new creation! You have a new spirit, a new walk, a new life! Are there “old” things in your life that you are trying to get rid of? Maybe you have old behaviors or addictions that you want to change. Remember, the new has come. It’s a new year and it’s time to be the new you. Let this year be the year you break old habits and addictions. Let this be the year that you move forward into a new life of victory. And your new life includes all the spiritual blessings the Lord has promised in His Word. You have a promise of peace. Health. Protection. Provision. Be encouraged today and know that no matter what is happening in your life right now, you can embrace the new life God has prepared for you. Make the choice today to leave the old behind—leave behind old behavior, old thinking, old words. Embrace the new by faith and you’ll move forward into the life of blessing the Lord has in store for you.

A Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for making me new. Help me to understand Your plan for me so that I can fully embrace Your promises. I choose today to leave behind the old life and ask that You empower me by Your spirit today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

If there are people in your life that continually disappoint you, break promises, and stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult
times...that is not a friend.
To have a friend, be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals interests and lifestyle.

When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends that enrich my life.

Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed for the better. At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life that make your life so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together. If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens: Chickens Can't Fly!

I love the Lord and thank Him for all that he does in my life; therefore, I'm passing this on. Yes I do love Jesus. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things. Phil 4:13

Take the time to make a positive difference in someone's life. Walk by faith, not by sight, Receive God's blessings.

Heal the past; live the present; dream the future.

Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have the power to create conditions in your life. What you speak about, you can bring about.

If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job.

If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick.

If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or just stop operating.

If you keep saying you're always broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.

If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.

If you keep saying you can't find a job,
you will remain unemployed.

If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you, our very thoughts will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.

Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive and power packed with faith, hope, love and action.

Don't be afraid to believe that you can
have what you want and deserve.

Watch your "Thoughts," they become words;

Watch your "Words," they become actions;

Watch your "Actions," they become habits;

Watch your "Habits," they become character;

Watch your "Character", for it becomes your "Destiny"

So.......To prevent any obstacles.......

GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY!
