I looooooooove listening to gospel music new or old. I also love watching good movies, reality shows, shopping, anything having to do with church and just hangin with my friends.

I like movies that make me laugh and ones that make me cry. I love the ones that make me do both. Some of my favorites are: shawshank redemption, deliver us from eva, barbershop 1, rush hour 1&2, cinderella(the brandi version), why did I get married, coming to america, any movie with martin lawrence or morgan freeman and I also love chick flicks.

Tye tribbett!!! I just love his music, style and everything him and his group STANDs for. Lol! My other favorite artists are: kirk franklin, marymary, fred hammond, dorinda, smokie norful, kelly price, dave hollister, whitney houston, the winans(especially marvin winans lol!) men of standard...etc. I also love old school love songs... you know, songs with meaning!

My most favorite book really is the Bible. Its the only book I read everyday and God speaks to me through it. What a book!! My other favorite book is Lily Among Thorns. I think every Christian female who is waiting for their true Mr. Right should read it.

My name is Shannon and I've got to start off by saying, Lord I love you soooooo much!! Your the reason I get out bed in the morning and get in it at night. Everyday with you justs get sweeter because you constantly take me from faith to faith from glory to glory. The least I can do is try to live right. Lord your the best thing that has ever happened to Shannon Murae Nance that's for sure. I guess I can say im a cool person to talk to. I love meeting new friends I can never have to many of them. Good friends are hard to find so I never hesitate to thank God for the ones I have. I'm pretty friendly but anyone who truely knows me knows that I don't take mess from anyone and I never hold my tongue for anyone especially if its got to be said. Im a person who just tries to always look on the bright side of things because I believe most people tend to forget that there's always one.

"Bieng confident of this very thing, that he that has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"(Philippians1:6)

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, who are called according to his purpose"(Romans8:28)

I attend the best church in the entire world Perfecting Church, under the leadership of the best preacher in the entire world, the dynamic Pastor Marvin L. Winans. I love going to every event from a revival to a picnic, I love it all. I met all my true friends there, i received the Lord as my savior there, I got baptized there and I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues there. Hey what can I say, we got history. Lol!

Likes: church, true friends, positive people, pizza, men, puppies, the mall

Dislikes: SATAN!!!!!

THE ART OF STAYING IN LOVE

hat is more exciting and exhilarating than falling in love? Is there anything?

Sadly, though, many of us have learned that it's just as easy to fall out of love as it was to fall into it. And while finding love and affection is one of our greatest personal needs, why is it that so few seem to stay in love?

Falling in love can be the start of a loving relationship, but lasting relationships don't just happen; they grow. In many ways nurturing a relationship is like tending a garden. Neglect it and it dies. Constant care and cultivation—including the following suggestions—are needed to keep love alive and growing.

Love is being there. One of the chief ingredients of love is to give another person your presence. Without presence, as Dr. David Augsburger says, love receives an invitation to die.

Presence is not only spending physical time with another person but also giving him or her your undivided attention when you are with them. It includes being sensitive to his/her feelings and aware of his/her needs. It means not only hearing with your ears but, much more so, hearing with your heart.

For instance, recently I visited with a friend who spent the entire time talking about his interests and concerns. I tried to share some of my interests, too, but felt as if my words fell on deaf ears. There was no experiencing of mutual presence—the basis for all meaningful relationships including friendships.
